Baptist Health helps out New Albany teachers

Must read

NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WAVE) – Baptist Health spent Saturday helping New Albany teachers get ready for next school year.

They held their second annual Stuff the Ambulance event with the goal of filling up an entire EMS vehicle with school supplies like markers, crayons, pencil boxes and everything else you’d need for the classroom.

“We just want to give our employees and the community an outlet to give back to our local teachers,” Ellen Stubbs of Baptist Health Floyd said. “We know that they spend a lot of their time, effort, money into their classrooms and we just want to help offset some of that.”

Baptist Health also had food trucks, game for the kids, bounce house and face painting.
