GT IPL 2023 team strengths

The biggest strength of Gujarat Titans in their maiden appearance in the IPL was the collective effort, with almost all the players making a vital contribution at some stage during the 2022 tournament that helped them win matches.

Rahul Tewatia and David Miller were brilliant in the middle and lower order, while Hardik Pandya also led from the front. Having captained India in the T20I format, the all-rounder will have added more confidence to his leadership skills.

GT IPL 2023 team weaknesses

Gujarat Titans were able to go all the way last year but they have not addressed their problem of a genuine fast bowler in the squad, apart from Alzarri Joseph.

While Yash Dayal impressed in his debut season, GT lacks firepower in their pace bowling unit, and there also isn’t a big spinner in their ranks who can provide support to Rashid Khan.

GT IPL 2023 probable team

Here’s the side we expect to play most of the IPL action:

Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Shubman Gill, Kane Williamson, Hardik Pandya (c), David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Alzarri Joseph, Mohammed Shami, R. Sai Kishore, Yash Dayal.
