Four Arrested in Sundargarh for Operating Online Sports Betting Racket | Bhubaneswar News – Times of India

Rourkela: The Town police of Sundargarh district busted an IPL betting racket on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in the arrest of four people.
The arrests were made in the early hours of Tuesday near the Shiv Temple in Mahadevpada.
The arrested persons have been identified as Mithun Sahu (33), Sanjaya Sahu (40), Subodh Choudhury (46) and Sanjay Kumar Sahu (40).
They all are resident of the area that falls under the Town police station limits.Police also seized around Rs 5,17,200 in cash.
Along with this, the authorites also confiscated a laptop, seven mobile phones, three motorcycles, and numerous debit and credit cards from various banks.
“We are continuing our investigation,” said H K Behera, SDPO Sadar, Sundargarh.
