MONROE, La. (KNOE) – Affinity Health Group (AHG) is transitioning its clinical operations to The Baton Rouge Clinic.

In a press release, AHG said they entered into an agreement that aims to integrate resources, expertise, and services to offer enhanced patient care and expanded medical services.

“AHG joining The Baton Rouge Clinic represents a significant step forward in our mission to expand and grow throughout the state of Louisiana,” said The Baton Rouge Clinic CEO Edgar Silvey. “We feel the core values our organizations were built on, clinical excellence and community service, are aligned. The commitment we have made to our patients, to provide the highest level of quality healthcare services, will remain at the forefront of every decision we make. Together, we will continue the tradition of caring that The Clinic has upheld since 1946.”

This agreement means that AHG will now join one of the largest independent provider groups in Louisiana.

Dr. David Yarbrough, President and Chief Medical Officer of AHG, said despite this transition AHG’s goal remains the same.

“Our focus on delivering high-quality care to our patients remains at the heart of everything we do,” said Yarbrough. “By joining The Baton Rouge Clinic, our clinicians will gain valuable tools and resources that will allow them to provide the same level of high-quality care more effectively.”
