DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) – Dothan’s Encompass Health celebrated thirty years of patient care on Thursday.
The rehab facility, which offers different types of recovery care, opened its doors in 1994.
Company leaders say before their opening, patients had to travel to Montgomery or Tallahassee for treatment.
They told News4 they are thrilled to continue to improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
“It takes a whole team to do what we do,” said Margaret Futch, CEO of Encompass Health. “Every employee has an opportunity to impact a patient’s day.”
“It feels great to see what we do for our patients in this community,” said Adrian Galloway, Business Development Director for Encompass. “30 years is great and we hope to be here 30 more.”
Encompass Health is also hoping to add more beds to expand their capabilities.
