HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A former doctor and her wife who ran clinics in Huntsville, Athens and Killen pleaded guilty to health care fraud.
Francene Gayle and Schara Monique Davis pleaded guilty Monday in federal court.
In addition to health care and wire fraud, Gayle also pleaded guilty to unlawfully distributing drugs.
Gayle operated three clinics, Mission Square Medical Clinic in Huntsville, Athens Medical Clinic in Athens and Advanced Medical Care in Killen.
Both women will be sentenced on September 11th.
