TILLMAN CO., Okla. (KSWO) – A nearly hour long recording leaked to social media has a Frederick Great Plains Technology Center instructor under investigation for what he said during the recording.
In a series of videos posted on YouTube people can hear a conversation between who we are told are, Tillman County Sheriff Candidate, Robert Wallace, and Great Plains Technology Center instructor, Bryan Smith.
In the video, the man, who Great Plains Technology Center confirmed with us is Bryan Smith, can be heard making racial remarks toward Black and Hispanic people, as well as other statements about county officials.
Smith is also heard on the video stating the students drive him crazy and, “I only teach at the Vo Tech for the money.”
School officials say they too watched the video and found many of the statements concerning.
We asked if Smith was still the Construction Technology instructor at GPTC, and school officials stated their website is accurate. And at this time, Smith is still listed as an employee.
We reached out to Smith and Wallace for comments. We have not heard back from Smith, but did speak to Wallace on the phone, who gave us permission to post the video.
