Mercy Health surgeons to get national spotlight in new reality TV show

CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – A Cincinnati-based health system is getting a national spotlight thanks to the launch of a new reality TV show.

Two Mercy Health surgeons have been selected to appear on The Learning Channel’s (TLC) new show called “Botched Bariatrics.” The show follows the journey of patients whose lives have been severely impacted after suffering complications from bariatric surgery.

Dr. Yasir Khan and Dr. Neilendu Kundu are among the physicians tasked with attempting to undo the mistakes made during a patient’s previous surgery.
