Dune: Part Two

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s sequel Dune: Part Two remained No. 1 on the U.K.’s Official Film Chart for a fourth consecutive week for the week ended May 15. The movie remains the top-grossing theatrical release in 2024.
Showing no signs of slowing down, the sci-fi drama starring Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson and Timothée Chalamet, held off competition from two new chart entrants.
At No. 2 was Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the follow-up to 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and the fifth installment in the franchise. The film stars Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon and Finn Wolfhard (“Stranger Things”), in addition to original cast members Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson.
Two animated films remained in the top five: Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s Kung Fu Panda 4 (No. 3) and Migration (No. 4). They finished just ahead of a new entry for the week, The Crow (No. 5), which entered the chart following a 30th anniversary re-release.
A24’s The Iron Claw moved up two spots to No. 6, while Sony’s chart mainstay The Equalizer 3 dropped two spots to No. 7.
Rounding out the chart were Paramount Home Entertainment’s biopic Bob Marley: One Love (No. 8), Warner’s Wonka (No. 9), and Universal’s Oscar winner Oppenheimer (No. 10).
