Saturday, May 4, will bring a belated start to the 2024 North Wales Cricket League season.

Due to the wet spring weather, the beginning of the campaign has had to be put back two weeks with wickets and grounds suffering badly from the rain.

Hopefully, the opening weekend will see some action as Friday evening in some parts of North Wales at least has been rather rainy.

As well as the five main Saturday divisions this season, the NWCL will also introduce a T20 league involving the 10 clubs competing in the reduced-in-size Premier Division.
